This is the father’s day card I made for my pops! I also gave him a pizza stone. What What. That’s some fine daughtering.
I was playing Maximum Carnage this morning and I got the the end of the first stage and remembered being a little kid and being so excited that Spider-Man got to fight girl thugs… and that the girls actually had more hp and better attacks than the male thugs. It remember feeling empowered, like “I can be anything I want to be when I grow up… even if I want to be an oddly dressed criminal who tries to beat up Spider-Man!”
So, in honor of that sentiment, I drew the female thug (and did the two different color variations from the game). Also used it as an excuse to try a chunkier more “comic-booky” line.
I’ve made a huge mistake.
Letters for a group project we’re working on at Supermurgitroidz.
Hey! Look at this collaboration I did with Miguel!
We kind of worked back and forth on this a bit, so it’s hard to say who did what. But I did the sketch, then Miguel did the line work and pencil shading, then I did the flat colors and a bit of shading, and he did highlights and finished it up.
Yay for robotic blaster arms!
A proposed pattern for Eastern State’s Terror Behind the Walls. I feel sort of silly posting this on my blog at this time of year, but I’m working on it now, soooo… here it is!
